Hatha Yoga I

This course focused on introducing the basic principles of Yoga, including Yoga pastures (Asanas), breathing (Pranayama), relaxation and meditation techniques. Some attention was given to the philosophical and historical background of Yoga.

What did we do?
  • Practiced the basic Asanas and recognized them in their Sanskrit terminology
  • Implemented the breathing techniques in Yoga with awareness
  • Assimilated and discussed the philosophical background of Yoga
  • Became acquainted with relaxation techniques of body and mind

Power Vinyasa Yoga

The course focused on a more dynamic approach of Yoga, including advanced Yoga postures (Asanas), breathing (Pranayama), relaxation and meditation techniques, as well as on the Philosophy of Yoga. The course was inspired by Baron's Baptiste Power Yoga style.

What did we do?
  • Performed asanas and variations of asanas
  • Implemented different breathing techniques
  • Practiced the conscious flow of breath during movement of asanas
  • Applied Yoga philosophy to the physical practice
  • Held Yoga positions for a long time
